Demi Chef de Partie

We are currently recruiting a Demi Chef de Partie for our three star Glasgow Pond Hotel with 137 bedrooms, brasserie & bar and 3 conference & banqueting rooms

The ideal candidate will have a passion for preparing great food and enjoy working with a dedicated team of Chefs and Kitchen Porters

The role will involve:
Taking responsibility for various sections within the kitchen
Preparing and presenting food to a high standard
Stock rotation
Ensuring kitchen areas are kept clean and tidy
Taking responsibility for strict control of hygiene in the kitchen and monitoring food preparation areas
Liaising with the Head Chef on current menu & new ideas
Knowledge of HACCP
Communicating effectively with kitchen team members and positively with other departments in the hotel
Room to progress in the kitchen

Food & Beverage Team Leader

We are currently recruiting for a F & B Team Leader at our three star Glasgow Pond Hotel with 137 bedrooms, brasserie & bar and 3 conference & banqueting rooms. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Food & Beverage Services Team Leader who enjoys the excitement of a busy bar and restaurant operation. Due to the fast paced environment, you will be the type of person who enjoys a challenge and can ensure a high standard of customer service is offered consistently

You'll be able keep calm, even when under pressure. This is a "hands-on" operational role, and you will be a supportive team member who ensures the smooth running of the shift. Responsibilities will include; serving guests, organising shifts to ensure that duties are completed on a timely basis, ensuring billing procedures and cashing-up procedures are complied with at all times in line with company standards and ensuring that team members are doing what is required of them to an acceptable standard and providing feedback as required. You will be involved in training team members in food and bar service and conference & events operations, therefore you will be knowledgeable within these areas. You will report to the F & B Assistant Manager and make an important contribution to the department
